The sushi was fresh, the tonkatsu was tasty, and the service was friendly. The food takes a little bit to come out which is the only downside to an otherwise pleasant experience.

Excellent quality of food, milieu and décor, all at fair prices. Waitstaff attentive. Clean bathroom. Small venue, so seating for parties over four is problematic. Japanese beers and desserts also available.

We enjoy going out. Yesterday we found this magnificent place which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a lovely experience there with exceptional cooking and a well-trained stuff and an impressive chef. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will certainly come back soon. Very good Sushi restaurant in Jackson Heights. I lived in Tokyo for 3 years so Ive been spoiled when it comes to Sushi. Best description I could offer is nothing is great but everything is very good. Nothing on the menu will disappoint you. Local place with great service. I love stopping in for a beer and Sushi/ Sashimi

A number of factors coerce me and my family to frequent this restaurant. A peaceful & cozy environment, an extremely friendly staff, a wide variety of food items, reasonable prices, and above all the delicious food make this place worth a regular visit.

The place is small, but well worth it. The Sushi was great, and Waiters we're very patient and helpful with us.

Great sushi options for the vegan or pescatarian. Great service and great staff. Also a quiet place for a glass of sake or catch-up with friends.

I came here after haBing a stressful trip on the subway. As soon as I came in, I was in a very relaxing place. There was nice relaxing music. The staff were very nice, the food was very fresh and delicious. Just what I needed.

Happy kitchen?More like depressed as all hell kitchen.and awkward kitchen too.My friend and I decided we wanted some authentic Japanese cuisine and saw this place has some great reviews and really lively photos. When we entered the store was completely empty (Which may be the reason for my next statement) and the staff, from the waiters to the chefs (You can see all when entering the restaurant) had the gloomiest, saddest expressions. They did not look too "Happy" at all. The waiter was very quiet and somewhat awkward, though this is just complaining as I just prefer lively and up beat waiters.So why the 3 star? Their food may have saved themI don't think my food was made with any kind of love at all, but it sure did taste good. My friend and I ordered chicken curry and it tasted great. I just wish the environment wasn't so.... dead.

14 of us from the nabe had a birthday party for 2 friends. Hard to believe in a small restaurant it could have been so comfortable and the service so great. The food was excellent, as always. Very grateful for this delightful experience!

Service takes a while and the prices are fairly high compared to other sushi restaurants. The sushi itself isn't bad but I wouldn't be my first place to go to get sushi.

This is my favorite sushi spot! I went to some other sushi spot by my house today to try it out & I must say that I was really missing the sushi from here. I LOVE this place! It's super delicious & the staff is very friendly. Definitely the best sushi spot in Jackson Heights!

If I could give this place -1000 stars I would, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE place you can ever order from. I ordered from them and got the wrong order after one hour ( live two blocks from them) then the delivery guy comes and demands the food back and they are going to give it to another customer ( even though it’s been opened) and he’s going to go get my food from someone else. That is so disgusting and unsanitary and then when I ask for a refund he tries to give me the purchase receipt and lie that this will get automatically refunded. How am I going to beleive that unless they give me a return or refund. If you guys want a better sushi experience just go to Okawa a few blocks away honestly, you won’t be so stressed out!!!

Been a customer for years since before their expansion. I’ve told every person about this place and everyone falls in love!! Theres an older gentleman who is always there to greet you, the ambience is soft and soothing, the food is honestly great, great quality. The soups are actually homemade quality, the salmon is to die for, nothing is from canned food and you can really tell, every dish is jam packed with flavor and freshness. These people have treated me, my family and friends so nicely and they deserve more than 5 stars. I hope they continue to deliver this amazing service to everyone!!
